You will find below ‘a step by step’ procedure to register and to apply for a university residence.
Administrative procedure
You have decided to do part of your studies at Cergy-Pontoise University. In order to do this you need to send in an Application form before the following deadlines : May 31, 2012, for students coming for the 1st semester or full academic year
October 31, 2012, for students coming for the 2nd semester
Students who are not residents of the European Union, after sending their application and student forms, will receive an invitation letter from Cergy-Pontoise University which is necessary to apply for a student visa.
Applying for a room in one of the university’s residence
Because of the limited number of student rooms available, you should contact as soon as possible the mobility office, relations.internationales@ml.u-cergy.fr to find out about vacancies.
If you wish to reserve a room in one of the residences that are proposed, please send back the Accommodation form by e-mail and post.
If you are selected for an accomodation, you will have to send us a proof that you have paid by bank transfer a deposit of 350 euros.
Be careful, if you cancel the reservation after September the 1st 2012, the university will not refund you.

The accommodation procedure must be complete before : June 15th, 2012, for students coming for the 1st semester or the full academic year
December 1st, 2012, for students coming for the 2nd semester
Health insurance :
It's compulsory for non-EU students and students who are covered by a private insurance in their country to sign up for Health coverage to be enrolled at the university. For your information, the contribution was 203€ in 2011-2012.
