Présentation

Thema is a research group in economics and management with a wide variety of research areas, which has had a partnership with the French CNRS since 1996. As such, it incorporates university professors as well as researchers affiliated with the CNRS. Research is largely aimed at policy questions in international macroeconomics (exchange rates policy, monetary policy or trade policy) as well as in microeconomics (transportation, health, education, environment, income redistribution or competition policy). Research at THEMA involves developing models explaining economic phenomena in all these different areas as well is in financial markets and corporate finance. Methodology is based on applied modelling tools such as econometrics, simulations and microeconomic theory, especially in game theory and the economics of information.
