Merit-based Scholarships for Second year Postgraduate Studies

Merit-based Scholarships for Second year Postgraduate Studies

09.01.2017 - 10.04.2017

Cergy-Pontoise University (UCP) is pleased to announce that it is introducing for the tenth time, scholarships based on merit for postgraduate students involved in Master’s research.

The scholarship amounts to a total of 7,000 euros, paid in ten monthly instalments over the 2017-2018 academic year. Up to 10 scholarships will be granted by the UCP, particularly by the Department of economics & business administration (UFR Economie & Gestion), the School of Law (Faculté de Droit) and the Department of Sciences and Technologies (UFR Sciences et Techniques).

The criteria for selection are academic excellence as well as the candidate’s potential (see the application forms). A selection committee from UCP will choose the beneficiaries.

Those scholarships are open to students born after 31 December 1993, who already have a bachelor’s degree or an equivalent level in France (a 4-year degree) and who are currently in their first year of a postgraduate Master’s degree.

The selected candidates should confirm their enrolment at UCP and pay their tuition fees by 13 July 2017 (enrolment fees, except social security fees, will be refunded and added to the scholarship).

External candidates to the University of Cergy-Pontoise are specifically encouraged to apply. Students will have to justify that they speak French (a DALF, DELF level or other French exam will be required) if the Master’s degree is taught in French or English sufficiently well, if the Master’s degree is taught in English (a TOEIC score or other English certificate is required).
Foreign students from universities that have an exchange agreement with UCP or from a university that has a partnership with Cergy-Pontoise University will be given special priority.

For foreign students, the selected candidates will be given a room in the CROUS housing facilities, as well as help from the international relations service regarding travel and accommodation.

No Applications since 10 April 2017.
