You have decided to do an exchange program at the University of Cergy-Pontoise (UCP).
You will find below ‘a step by step’ guide to apply to our university.

Once you have been nominated officially by your university, you will need to complete the Application Form 2016-2017.
This Application Form is sent to you after we receive your nomination sent by your home university.
Submit your application (by email AND by regular mail) ONLY during the following dates:
- from April 1st, 2016 to April 30th, 2016: for the 1st semester (winter term) and the full academic year
- from October 1st, 2016 to October 30th, 2016: for the 2nd semester (spring term)

Coordinators and referees are here to help you for all enquiries related to your studies at the UCP (the list of courses you can take, your schedule, ECTS Credits, the beginning and ending dates of courses, etc.)
It is important for you to contact them for the establishment of your study abroad provisionnal learning agreement (page 2 of the application form), you can contact the coordinator of your respective academic department.

For non-European Union students:
After acceptance of your application, you will receive an invitation letter from the University of Cergy-Pontoise. This document will be necessary to apply for a student visa.
French Student Social Security (sécurité sociale étudiante):
Social security coverage is mandatory for non European students who wish to enroll at the university.
Non European students must prepare their birth certificate (translated into French by a certified translator) BEFORE thier arrival in Cergy.
