Following a request from our Korean partner "Pusan National University" (PNU), the University of Cergy-Pontoise International Relations Department has devised a special one-semester program which takes its inspiration from the contents of the University Diploma (DU) "French Studies".

The program “A Semester of French Studies” covers many aspects of French culture : tradition, politics, economics, literature, education, ... In addition, French language lessons for foreigners (FLE) are provided (6 h/week) along with museum visits, French cookery lessons and wine tasting workshops, etc.

The one-semester program for PNU students is conceived as follows:

→      All lectures are in English. These lectures take place at the St Germain-en-Laye Campus of the Institute for Political Sciences.

→      All "French language for foreigners (FLE)" lessons are given on the Cergy Campus.

→     Practical workshops and cultural visits are organised in Paris and its region.

→     A fee of 2250 Euros is required per student. Please note that this amount, representing the tuition fees for all lectures and related charges, does not include living expenses such as meals, housing and local transport.

The program starts in September 2015 and ends in January 2016. At the end of the program, students who accomplish with success will each receive a Certificate presented by the UCP as well as a transcript of 30 ECTS which they have gained.

As from 2016, an intensive form of this program (French Studies + Cultural Activities + French as a Foreign Language), lasting two or three weeks will also be offered to students studying at our partnering universities. The cost, as well as other details, will be announced shortly.
